About Me

Born and brought up in North Wales, Cassie has long held an appreciation for the countryside - the hills and valleys, the trees and rivers, the fields and moors and the little paths, well-trodden through the ages that wind their way through the landscape.

As her interest grew, she started learning to identify the plants around her, and their various traditional uses.

This, combined with her love of history and traditional healing practices helped inspire her to study Lincoln College's University accredited BSc(Hons) course in Herbal Medicine, graduating in 2016.

Since then, Cassie has helped establish a herb garden at the Woodland Skills Centre, Bodfari, running short, one and two day courses there to help others grow familiar with plants and how to use them. She's also led herb walks in her local area, and further developed her displays of medicinal herbs for the medieval events she attends, often helping introduce plants to the general public and offer insight into their historic and current useage.

Cassie is a member of the Unified Register of Herbal Practitioners (URHP), a professional association for qualified practitioners of Herbal Medicine.
